I'm a Nairobi-based data scientist with 7+ years of experience building predictive models, analytics, and dashboards across diverse industries; financial services, insurtech, market research, iGaming, sports, mobility, and AI development. I also work as an independent consultant, taking on data science and BI projects end to end, from scoping and modelling to delivery and handover.
My approach is strategic: define the question, validate the data, build and test the model, and explain the result in terms people can act on. I trained as an actuary, which gave me a rigorous grounding in statistics, risk, and model validation, and I bring that discipline to every data science problem. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams and turning technical findings into clear next steps.
